Boise Dog-Friendly Breweries

Did you know that Idaho ranks among the top states for dog ownership? As of a 2020 survey, 58.3% of homes in Idaho welcome at least one dog into their lives, so it’s no wonder that Boise is home to quite a few dog-friendly breweries that welcome you and your furry family members!

Next time you’re looking for a spot to meet up for happy hour, consider one of these local breweries that welcome 2 legged and 4 legged patrons alike. There’s nothing better than enjoying a cold one surrounded by cute pups!

Payette Brewery crafts a large variety of local brews, from classic beers to stouts, IPAs, and sours. Their menu boasts a variety of year-round favorites, as well as rotating seasonal and special edition drinks. And better yet, dogs are welcome to join the party around the table, or out in the yard. Payette is even known for hosting pup-centered events, such as canine Halloween costume contests!

Another great option if you’re looking for a dog-friendly tasting room, Lost Grove features both indoor and outdoor seating, and also hosts events like trivia nights, as well as food trucks, so that you can grab a bite while enjoying a beverage. Lost Grove brews a large variety of beers, IPAs, and sours, that you can enjoy on-site, or you can pick up your favorites to take home!

A friendly pub located in the North End, Cloud 9 features a menu of their own locally brewed and organic beers. They also have some delicious dining options, with ingredients sourced locally and organically whenever possible! Cloud 9 also features a dog-friendly patio, which is a great option for you and your furry friend on a sunny day.

Started in Bend, Oregon in the early 2000s, 10 Barrel Brewing has been a Boise staple since 2013, and for good reason! They boast a large variety of delicious brews, as well as a mouthwatering lunch and dinner menu. 10 Barrel also has some great house-made options for those looking for something different, like their hard seltzers, or canned mixed drinks. Pups are always welcome on the patio, and it’s a great location to relax and enjoy the environment of Downtown Boise.

With their canine mascot, it’s no surprise that White Dog Brewing invites your pup to join the family on the patio. This is a great place to grab one of their many house brews, or to sample some of the incredible menu options available through the neighboring restaurant, Smoke and Thyme.
