Thank your Veterans by celebrating them with a weekend of dancing!
The Riverside Hotel is partnering with Country Nomads and Country Dance ID to host the Veterans Weekend Dance Event. This event will raise money for K9s For Warriors, the nation’s largest provider of service animals for Veterans.
The tickets range from a base entry fee of $5 to a fundraiser dance workshop package fee of $60. Tickets can be purchased here!
This three-day event will start on Friday, November 11th at 7 pm with a competition at the Riverside Hotel. The entry fee for the competition is $10 per person or guests can donate $5 for social dancing. All proceeds for this night will be donated directly to K9 warriors. The night will consist of line dancing to songs American Kids, This Dog Will Hunt, and Off the Chain followed by partnered up swing dancing. Party the rest of the night away at The Buffalo Club. They will be hosting an after-party to this event starting at 10 pm and going until 2 am. Shuttle buses to and from will be available for an additional fee.
Saturday’s festivities will begin at 10 am with private lessons from Country Nomads followed by dancing workshops. A group dinner will take place at 6:30 and guests can RSVP for a delicious meal shared with friends. Of course, the night is not complete without an afterparty to show off all the dance moves learned from the workshops earlier in the day!
Private lessons will continue Sunday, November 13th from 12 pm to 4 pm from Country Nomads. For those who would like to be involved in this event but do not wish to dance, or for those who wish to continue the activities, a non-dancing group activity will take place at 5 pm to close out the weekend.
