WATCH FILMS MADE BY IDAHOANS AT BOISE’S COLOSSAL CINEMATIC SHOWCASE
The Country Club Reel in Boise is hosting this year’s Colossal Cinematic Showcase on May 19th, 2019, 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm. See the hard work and passion of sixteen local filmmakers on the big screen this Sunday. Watch films spanning all genres. There will be psychological thrillers, high drama, 80s horror, even a Dr. Who episode.
Local directors/performers/producers Melina Marx and Larry Dennis founded this event which was intended to give ambitious cinematographers a chance to exercise and show off their talents. With the help of the Boise Department of Arts and History, the CCS is quickly becoming a proud tradition of local filmmakers and fans.
Tickets for the festival can be purchased here. The event is considered R rated, so viewer discretion is advised. When the movies are done, head over to Mad Swede Brewing, a sponsor of the CCS, to be a part of the after party where patrons will have the chance to speak to the creators of the featured films.
The CCS is a biannual event in operation for three consecutive years now. Help CCS by attending the event and checking out their generous sponsors and supporters.
