The holiday season is meant for bringing loved ones together, and showing thanks to those that mean the most. To celebrate Thanksgiving, most of us gather for a traditional feast of turkey and pie, and whether you’re hosting, or just helping cook, it can get a little overwhelming. Often times the hustle and bustle that comes along with celebrating distracts us from what’s really important.
We know the holidays are all about tradition, but sometimes it’s fun to make new ones. Take a break from the kitchen, and let someone else do the work this year. We’ve rounded up a list of our favorite restaurants in the Magic Valley that are open on Thanksgiving so the only fingers you’ll have to lift are the ones holding your fork.
Not only is Canyon Crest known for their spectacular views of the Snake River Canyon, but also for their five star holiday buffets. From 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, enjoy an all-you-can-eat Thanksgiving feast for the whole family. With everything from turkey to tri-tip, there’s guaranteed to be a little something for everyone. Call and make your reservations today.

Black Bear Diner is fairly new on the scene here in the Magic Valley, but it’s definitely a fan favorite. On Thanksgiving Day, they will be open until 8:00 pm, and will have three course meal specials. Choose between a ham, turkey, and prime rib dinner. You really can’t go wrong!

When talking about places open on Thanksgiving, you can’t forget everyone’s favorite place to grab a slice of pie. Sharis in Twin Falls will be open their usual 24hrs on the holiday, and in addition to their regular menu, they will also be serving traditional Thanksgiving dishes. Their house made ham and turkey dinners will make you feel right at home.
