Welcome to our Beginner Knitting Class, the first step for all aspiring yarn enthusiasts! Get ready to dive headfirst into the captivating world of knitting and unleash your creative potential. Our knowledgeable instructor, Brandy, will guide you through the basics, from mastering essential stitches to creating your first cozy pair of slippers. Join our vibrant community of fellow knitting enthusiasts, feed your motivation, and let your imagination run wild with endless possibilities. Embrace the joy of knitting and embark on an exciting journey of self-expression and craftsmanship with our Beginner Knitting Class!
This class will occur over three class periods, three consecutive Tuesdays starting September 12th, followed by September 19th and 26th.
When: Tuesdays, September 12th, 19th, and 26th
Time: 6:00 PM – 7:45 PM
Where: I Yarn for Ewe shop
Cost: $60
The pattern will be provided in class.
YARN
Approximately 150[s] (200[m], 300[L])yds / 137 (183, 274)m of a medium or heavy worsted-weight yarn.
Note: yarn is held double throughout, so you can mix colors and yarns.
NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US 8 (5mm) or US 9 (5.5mm) needles, or size to obtain gauge. Straight or circular needles.
Blunt darning needle to finish.
2 stitch markers.
Pom-pom maker (optional).
Supplies can be purchased at I Yarn for Ewe. Ask staff for assistance.
CLASS CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY – effective 06/01/2023
-Cancellations 14 days or more before the scheduled first class session or workshop will result in a full refund credited to the student’s account that can be used toward future classes, private lessons, or in-store purchases.
-Cancellations less than 14 days before the scheduled first class session or workshop will result in a 50% refund issued as in-store credit.
-No refunds will be given for cancellations less than 24 hours before the scheduled first class session or workshop.
-Fees for special events are non-refundable.
-I Yarn for Ewe reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any class or event. In this case, registration fees will be refunded in full to the original method of payment.
