Summer Scavenger Hunt at the Old Idaho Penitentiary

Comb through decades of Idaho history as our annual Summer Scavenger Hunt tests your knowledge of the Idaho State Penitentiary’s 101 years of cons, cats and contraband. Assemble your team and explore our site to locate clues, uncover secret inmate activities, and plan a successful escape from the penitentiary. Finish the scavenger hunt and be entered to win a private tour and a prize pack from the Souvenir Confinement store! Food trucks will be on hand with food to purchase. This is an all-ages event. Saturday, July 9, 6:00 – 10:00 pm (last admission 9:00 pm).
