Don’t look now but gas prices continue to drop in the Treasure Valley. Just call it another reason to “Go Out” and enjoy the many activities our area has to offer.
“Local gas prices fell 4.3 cents over the past week and now average out to about $2.87 a gallon, which surveys 216 stations in the area.”
However, Boise still falls far behind the national average which saw prices fall 7.8 cents a gallon costing about 2.53. The reason for falling gas prices is due to the price of crude oil plunging which translated into cheaper gas prices. However, it’s important to keep in mind that because the holiday shopping season is in full force, gas stations along highly traveled streets may have higher prices. According to Gas Buddy, the Top Three Lowest Gas Prices in Boise are Costco- 2051 S Cole Rd $2.75 Maverik 12095 Ustick Rd $2.78 Shell 3110 W State St $2.87
