Released in 1939, The Wizard of Oz is one of the most beloved films of all time. Now, thanks to the Nampa Civic Center’s new Interactive Movie Series, you can enjoy it in a whole new way.
Like a family friendly version of Rocky Horror Picture Show, everyone who attends the March 29 interactive screening of The Wizard of Oz receives a prop participation kit, and the film is subtitled so the audience can sing along. Plus, the evening includes Wizard of Oz trivia, and a costume contest—with prizes—in which attendees are encouraged to go dressed as a “ favorite character, scene, object or song” from the movie.
Tickets are only $10 in advance and $12 at the door, so gather up your blue gingham, pink tulle, straw, or silver paint and get ready for an adventure in the Emerald City.
