There are a ton of outdoor things to do in Idaho, especially when the weather is warm.
But what about when it starts to get dark way too early, and the cold is just sharp enough to make you think twice about going snowboarding?
You should Go! geek out local at these cafes that celebrate all things nerdy.
This Meridian cafe has an edge on its coffee competition by doubling as a comic book and nerd collector’s shop! Grab a friend with whom you share a love of all things geeky and fill in the gaps of your collection with all the great nerd merch at Collector’s Outpost!
In addition to their delicious custom drinks at the full coffee bar, they carry all the new must-have issues from DC, Marvel, and Dark Horse, as well as the more obscure publishers. Give their VR machine a try, and get a load of their true-to-life R2D2.
Rumor has it that Krampus will be making a special creepy Christmastime appearance at Collector’s Outpost sometime this Holiday Season.
Follow them on social media for upcoming events, updates on coffee drinks and specials, and availability of new releases of all your favorite comics. Also, keep your eye on their website and you just might find collectible hidden secrets in the coming weeks where curious customers can earn some awesome rewards.
The coffee roasters out of Twin Falls run a highly nerd-friendly establishment. They work with the Twin Falls Public Library to hold Comics and Coffee nights, featuring a different graphic novel each month. Last month’s comic was Batman: The Long Halloween.
November’s Comics and Coffee with Twin Beans and the Twin Falls Public Library will be an open discussion rather than focusing on a particular comic book. Patrons are encouraged to bring all the deep knowledge of their favorite graphic novels and suggestions for the comics and graphic novels they would love to read in the coming months.
Go! Gather up all the names of the comics you’ve always wanted to read but never have and bring them to Comics & Coffee with Twin Beans and the Twin Falls Public Library on November 21st, 2019, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm!
Now that it’s getting cold out there, why not let out your inner geek and head to one of these cool cafes for a hot drink and comic book.
