Now that the holidays are approaching, it seems vacation season has come and gone. While this is the season for giving to others, it’s still okay to treat yourself from time to time. For those of you looking for a fun little getaway, but not wanting to go too far, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite staycation spots in Idaho.
The Riverside Hotel is one of our favorite places to get away here in town. Not only are they right on the riverwalk, and minutes from downtown, but they also have awesome amenities such as a luxurious pool, spa, and fitness room. The best part is, you don’t even have to leave the hotel to have a great night. With on-site dining, bars, and multiple live music venues, it’s the perfect place for a weekend of relaxation. You can even upgrade your fun and get a bottle of red or white wine, two Riverside signature wine cups, and breakfast for two in your room, with our exclusive Go Out Local Vincation Upgrade! You can find the offer on our app or website on the “Coupons” page
Another place we absolutely love is Hotel Ketchum. This spot is fairly new to Ketchum, Idaho, and it has quickly become one of our favorite places to stay. It’s located right in town and is surrounded by great restaurants, nightlife, and is just minutes from world-class skiing. If you’re looking to keep it a little more low key, they also have multiple eateries at the hotel, and a beautiful outdoor heated pool and spa. Oh, and let’s not forget the gorgeous hillside views.
Just a few hours north of Ketchum, you’ll find some of the most gorgeous views Idaho has to offer. That’s just one reason why our next stop is such a desirable location. The Mountain Village Resort is nestled in the heart of one of Idaho’s smallest towns, and we can’t think of a more secluded and peaceful getaway. Stanley is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle. Mountain Village offers a cozy restaurant, and the coolest natural hot spring around. It’s tucked away in a little barn, with doors that open up to amazing views of the Sawtooth Mountains. You really can’t get more relaxing than that!
