All of downtown Boise’s community including boutiques, restaurants, cafes, and other businesses all contribute special events, sales, or one-time-only giveaways every first Thursday of the month.
Old Boise and Go Out Local knocked it out of the park once again at their June 6th First Thursday Block Party. They hosted the soiree in the Old Boise 6th & Main parking lot, where Wiseguy Pizza poured the beer, El Gallo Giro catered tacos, and live music got everyone’s feet moving.
Cast Iron Climbing made an appearance as well with a rock climbing wall, where kids and adults challenged each other to the top after moving on from a few friendly yard games like cornhole.
The Go Out Local booth featured their cool Idaho inspired apparel line and a prize wheel that offered the spinner opportunities to win several great prizes from local businesses.
The block party was such a success, another one is planned for September! Follow Old Boise and Go Out Local on Facebook for amazing content, including news on upcoming parties, events, and First Thursdays! Don’t miss the next Old Boise Block Party!
There’s always a party going on when you GO! Out local.
