Sue Latta is arguably one of the hardest working artists around.
Latta teaches art at Boise State University; she is a skilled curator and art handler; and she owns The Sculpture Studio, where she offers popular workshops in welding, mold making, and resin casting. Most importantly, Latta makes art. Her substantial yet delicate-looking steel sculptures adorn public areas, businesses, and even cemeteries; and hundreds of her innovative mixed-media works hang in homes, offices, and more.
See why so many people feel a connection to Latta’s art on April 5 at the opening reception for The Texture of Things, her new exhibit of mixed-media sculpture at Visual Arts Collective. The reception starts at 5:30 p.m., and is free and open to the public (21 and older only).
