The Best Christmas Light Displays In The Magic Valley

Local Christmas light displays bring magic to the valley

It’s that time of year again when everyone is in the holiday spirit and Christmas is right around the corner! With only one weekend left before Christmas, it’s prime time to fit in those festive traditions you just haven’t had time for yet, and one of our favorites is going to look at Christmas lights. Here is a list of must-see Christmas lights in the Magic Valley.

Local Christmas House on Filer Ave

This festive display in the Magic Valley is one of our favorites to visit this time of year. A local family in Twin Falls takes Christmas to the next level with their dancing decorations. On the corner of Filer Ave and Polk St, find a place to park, tune in your radio, and enjoy the synchronized light display. It’s fun for the whole family, and you don’t even have to get out of your car. Unless of course, you would like to visit their donation box. All proceeds go to the Valley House Homeless Shelter.

Twin View Lane

It really doesn’t get more festive than Twin View Lane in Twin Falls. The entire lane participates in this Christmas light tradition started by local resident Max Casperson. Every year with the help of his family and neighbors, Casperson lights up the street with a display that seems to get bigger each year. This 15-year-old tradition has grown over time, and now is not only a tradition for the Casperson family, but for families from all over the Magic Valley. It really is a sight to see.

Rock Creek Christmas Lights

Another classic Magic Valley tradition is the Rock Creek General Store Christmas lights in Hansen. Having moved from the South Hills several years ago, this light display is still as popular as ever and is truly a must this time of year. The holiday spectacle is not only walk-through friendly, you can drive through it as well. With elaborate displays and lights around every corner, you’re sure to feel the Christmas spirit.

So what are you waiting for? Grab some hot cocoa and GO! out and experience these holiday displays while you still can.
