Whether you celebrate by feasting on corned beef and cabbage, drinking Irish whiskey, or simply wearing green, St Patrick’s Day is a holiday that everyone can get behind, and downtown Twin Falls is no stranger to throwing epic St Paddy’s Day parties.
This year, kick-off the holiday with a little weekend pregame. On Saturday March 14th, the downtown Twin Falls businesses are coming together for the ultimate St Patrick’s Day Beer Crawl. The festivities are for ages 21 and up, and will start at Yellow Brick Cafe at 1:30 pm, where you’ll get your green swag, and learn about all of the drink specials, games, costume contests and live music you’ll encounter on your crawl. There will even be special prizes for the leprechauns who visit all of the participating businesses!
The downtown community will be continuing their celebrations on the day of, with some classic Twin Falls traditions. Everyone knows that on March 17th, O’Dunkens Draught House is the place to be. Start off the fun at 12:00 pm with green beer and brats, as well as other classic Irish food specials, and continue celebrating at the St Patrick’s Day Parade on Main Avenue at 5:00pm. Stick around later for a downtown street party and live music by local artist Aaron Golay.
